Thank you Xbox Live Arcade. Doesn't look as good through a potato though.

Good Lord, memory lane. Except my Banjo cartridge along with my 64 died. :c

Yup, the game play still even holds up. I was expecting it to disappoint but it's still a good one.
I have my N64 copy atill but this came in a bundle with the original game, which I ever had.

Xbox Live has both games in a bundle for $15. Memory lane indeed though. I spwnt countless hours playing this game. Back when story mode had to be long because there was no online play. These days I can finish a game in a few days.

Very true... To be honest, I think I play more N64 than any other platform out there. Rising prices have kept me out of the console market for two generations now, but I have a lot of current stuff on PC that I just don't care about as much as the good old N64!

Maybe it's that I don't play adventure games much anymore, but usually Fourza, COD, Batman Arkham, and GTA, but this game stands up better now than Goldeneye does. 007 will always be a classic and one of my favorite games ever, but it just can't hold up to modern first person shooters at all.
Banjo Tooie always plays better on yhe Xbox controller than it does on the N64 one. I suspect Goldeneye would be improved by it as well.
